The Recording Academy and its affiliated charitable foundation MusiCares have established the COVID-19 Relief Fund to help our peers in the music community affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Up to $1000 grant for those in the music industry. Requires proof proof of music industry background, cancellations and bookings and copy of lease/mortgage. Eligible if: music industry professional (at least 3 years) and/or 6 commercially released recordings (singles) or commercially/promotionally released music videos and Need assistance to compensate for cancelled work that was scheduled and lost.

MusiCares continues its support of the music industry through the COVID-19 pandemic focusing on the most pressing needs of the community. Unfortunately, this pandemic has economically devastated the business of music, but has equally if not more, devastated the community’s health and safety. Support will be prioritized to those who are experiencing a medical, dental, mental health, insurance, substance abuse or eviction crisis.
