Thousands of people — some for the first time and some for the hundredth time — marched, danced and rallied for three days straight, Mayor Kenney wrote statements standing up to Trump’s lies, and we made it clear that resistance is the new normal.

But we know Trump will be back. He has a bone to pick with our city — we’re too Black and Brown, too progressive, too welcoming of immigrants and Muslims, too queer, and too willing to speak up and fight back.
